Featured Additions

Here are the highlights among the new or expanded library databases for 2015.  These should prove useful across all academic disciplines.

  • ebrary
This e-book database includes Academic Complete and now the Public Library Complete collection, with over 120,000 e-books across all disciplines. The interface is also new and improved.
  • Films on Demand Video Collection
Over 20,000 streaming academic-oriented videos from major producers like Films for the Humanities and Sciences, PBS, History Channel, A&E, and National Geographic.
  • Oxford Reference
The Oxford Reference "Premium Package" consists of several hundred scholarly dictionaries and companions. All subject areas are covered, but with special emphasis on history, the arts, and the humanities.
  • ProQuest Central
This large interdisciplinary database contains articles from scholarly journals, popular magazines, newspapers, and other types of sources. It's a good starting point for basic research in most fields.
