In the Spring of 2022, the Meredith's Universities Studying Slavery team, worked with the Arts and Humanities Common Experience Committee and the Black Student Union to present three campus events. The events were named the "De-Lux Brunch" in honor of the year's Common Experience theme, LUX. The three events have explored the histories of major figures in Meredith history and campus traditions.

In 2022, Dr. Daniel Fountain, Professor of History at Meredith College, published an article entitled The Role of Baptist and Meredith College Leadership on White Supremacist Advocacy and Policy in Early Twentieth Century North Carolina. The article, published in the January 2022 issue of the North Carolina Historical Review explores the engagement of Meredith College leaders with the 1898 Democratic Party's White Supremacy Campaign and how this engagement supported Jim Crow in North Carolina. This article was the result of research completed as part of the Universities Studying Slavery Team.
