Use Zotero
Zotero is a free citation management tool that helps users store the sources that they find in the course of their research. It also offers the ability to insert citations and format bibliographies instantly in a word processor like Microsoft Word. Learn more about it here.
Chicago Style refers to two different citation styles. Please ask your instructor which version to use. Note that "Turabian Style" is very similar to Chicago Style, with a few minor differences.
The Humanities, or Notes/Bibliography version (often used in Art, History, and Religion) involves footnotes and a bibliography.
The Author-Date version (often preferred in the social sciences) involves in-text citations and a reference list.
