As an independent institution, Meredith College provides an academic library for the use of its students, faculty, and staff. Other individuals are welcome to visit and to use library materials in accordance with library policies. The College reserves the right to restrict any individual from using any of its materials, equipment, facilities, or services.
Public access computers are on the main floor. Ask at the Circulation desk about specific locations.
A public wireless network is available. Please ask at the Circulation desk for details.
Visitors are welcome to use library materials, seating, and computers. Please be aware that access to our library building is restricted to current Meredith students and employees only after 8pm on Sunday through Thursday.
Students, faculty, and staff from other Cooperating Raleigh Colleges can check out up to five items at a time from the Meredith College library, for a loan period of 30 days. They will need to present a current valid student or staff ID card from their institution.
Other visitors can check out up to ten items at a time if they purchase a Friends of the Library membership. The cost is $25 for a one year membership. Please refer to the Friends of the Library page for more information.
Visitors can access the library's online databases and eBooks on-campus. Off-campus access is not available for visitors.
Interlibrary loan is not available for visitors.
