This website was created by Kelly Morris Roberts, PhD, Meredith class of 1991, who started the research in 2022 during a research sabbatical project. Focusing on empathy-building through anti-racist reading in young adult literature, Dr. Roberts curated these resources for her classes, her research, and the empowerment of her classes focusing on anti-racist texts. Several undergraduate student research projects emanated from the original project, and some are included here. The hope is to continue to update and curate for the benefit of the Meredith campus and beyond. We hope you find the site helpful, and if you have comments or suggestions, please contact Kelly Morris Roberts, Department of English, at robertsk@meredith.edu
