The MLA International Bibliography, published by the Modern Language Association, is the leading scholarly bibliography for research on modern literature; this is a great source for finding scholarly books and journal articles.

A comprehensive full text literature database offering a broad spectrum of information on thousands of authors and their works.

A literary collection providing full-text articles from scholarly journals and literary magazines, along with general background information.

Scholarly database many journals about literarature and culture. Searches in JSTOR look inside the articles' full text, so it's a good place to look for information on your specific work (try using quotation marks).

JSTOR provides free access to up to a hundred articles a month if you create a JSTOR account-- this can get you to items that the Meredith library doesn't subscribe to. To see all of this content in JSTOR, select "Everything" on the left side of the page, rather than "Content I Can Access:
