Mable Thomas was a member of the Georgia House of Representatives representing District 56. Thomas assumed office on January 14, 2013. Thomas left office on January 11, 2021. She ran in a special election to the U.S. House to represent Georgia's 5th Congressional District. Thomas lost in the special general election on September 29, 2020.
