How do I find an article in a particular journal? Go to the library's web page and click on the Journals tab. Type the name of the journal such as The Journal of Sport and Exercise Psychology, for example, in the search box.
After searching for The Journal of Sport and Exercise Psychology, you will see it on the screen. From here you can enter your keywords directly into the search bar. In this example we will be searching for "prenatal exercise" AND "women's health".
On the next page your results will be displayed. For this search, it returned 596 results!
But you can always narrow down your search further by using the Refine your search options on the left side of the screen. You can narrow down your results by content type, publication, discipline and subject terms.
You may borrow materials from other universities in Raleigh.

If a journal article is not at Meredith or a book is not at Meredith or North Carolina State University you may submit an InterLibrary Loan request.
Items on reserve may be located using the Course Reserve tab on the library's web page.
If the professor asks you to read an article not on reserve begin by clicking the Journal Titles tab on the library's home page. Type the name of the journal, the Journal of Biomechanics for example, in the search box. Once you have found the journal title consult the owned beginning and ending dates of that journal. Pick a date range that contains the date of the article you are looking for. Then find the location. This one is not available via the computer so you will have to come to the library to access the print copies.
