Student Success Center at Meredith

The Student Success Center's Resources for Students Page

The Meredith College Student Success Center (SSC) provides students with academic support services, including success coaching, academic planning, and peer tutoring, that promote equity, reinforce and extend learning, and move students toward timely graduation. We also help students develop self-efficacy and become advocates for their own education. From the resources page you can schedule an appointment for the following services.

Student Success Coaching

Success coaches offer students one-on-one mentoring to support their success as college students. Success coaches help students identify and overcome obstacles to their academic success, develop skills that will support their success long after graduation, and connect with resources and programs on campus.

Academic Planning

Academic advisors are here to help students develop an academic plan designed to meet educational goals during their time at Meredith. Undecided students can work with an academic advisor to identify areas of interest and explore potential majors and minors.

Tutoring

Learning Center tutors are trained to assist their peers with a variety of subjects, including math, chemistry, biology, world languages, and more. Our tutors can also assist students with writing and study skills across all content areas. Sessions are either thirty minutes or an hour and can occur online or in-person in the Learning Center.
