I have chosen to interview Constance Ervin who is a Democrat that works for the district government, specifically the department of housing and community development. This governmental program helps impoverished communities receive things like district grants for housing, roofs, and things of that nature. She certainly has seen a difference in how things are run based on the politics of who runs the district of Columbia’s government at the time. Constance also used to work with the federal government under the department of housing and Urban Development where she specialized in led paint. She gave a very insightful interview on what exactly she does within the government, and the knowledge I was able to gather from her was very beneficial. --Compiled by Jason Wright
