Information Literacy Level 1 This guide is designed to support the Information Literacy unit within ENG 111, but also provide a first-level introduction to research skills for any Meredith College student.

Information Literacy Level 2 This Research Guide is your tutorial for ENG 200. In this tutorial we will build on what you have learned in ENG 111 and will also teach you how to do more advanced research.

Zotero is a free citation management tool that helps users store the sources that they find in the course of their research.  It also offers the ability to insert citations and format bibliographies instantly in a word processor like Microsoft Word.

Mendeley is a free research management tool that allows you to collect and organize the sources that you find in library databases and on the internet.  Mendeley offers the ability to share references and collaborate with others in groups, and it integrates with Microsoft Word, allowing you to automatically insert citations into a Word document and generate bibliographies using a variety of citation styles.
