Checking PDF Document Accessibility
PDF Documents should also be checked for accessibility. Making a Word Document accessible makes the PDF check a lot easier and manageable.
Main items to watch for:
- Title and Author
- Tagging
- Add ALT-Text to images, tables, graphs,or indicating images are decorative (does not need alt-text)
- Check to be sure the document has optical character recognition (OCR) to be readable.
