Elliot has visited us before!
In 2006, we talked about Samuel Johnson and his dictionary.
In 1993, the presentation was "Our Slippery Mother Tongue: A light history of English."
It is good to have him back again!

We have enjoyed Elliot Engel's presentations before. This fall, he returns to tell us about Leonardo da Vinci. He promises to encompass the breadth and depth of Leonardo’s unique genius including the causes of his many unfinished masterpieces and the mystery of Mona Lisa’s smile. Using anecdotes, analysis, and large doses of humor,he will bring to life the man many critics consider the highest genius in Western civilization.
